A little bit of Charlotte

I have been dying to take a peek into the beautiful townhouse of Charlotte Moss. I finally had the chance to stop in and her shop is incredible; it's like stepping into someone's home and seeing how they live. She has definitely added new furniture and rearranged several pieces from her images of the house she has posted online. So if you are in the neighborhood stop by I promise you will love it! Sorry for no photos, I would have had the perfect opportunities to get some great shots too! Don't worry I'll be back soon and will hopefully get to snap a few then. In the meantime, here are some great shots I was able to get of a friend of a friends house. It's a 5 story town home (or would this be brownstone-not sure) some of the photos are a little blurry because I was trying to go quick and unnoticed.

Everything in the house has been restored to it's original architecture. Fun Facts: Overall the house had 5 kitchens (one on each floor, even in the child's playroom) and was purchased for about $200,000 in the 70's. Now it is worth $15,000,000. It has also been published in several design books and magazines including Architectural Digest!

Also, Charlottes Moss's new book "A Flair for Living" will be available in May but you can pre-order your book now. Yeah, another great read + a beautiful coffee table book.
