At Last...

Suzanne Kasler's line has finally arrived at Hickory Chair. This is good for two reasons...1. She has beautiful taste and I now have new beautiful furniture to spec for clients and 2. Hickory Chair is reasonably priced which means I can finally start affording a few pieces!! Look at these great pieces, some of them look like they could be from Oly Studio (another favorite of mine!)

My morning crush...

I’m sure many of you, like me, watch Good Morning America while getting ready. There is just something so great about this show, it quickly tells you the basic news you need to know, the weather, and then great “water cooler” topics. But the best thing of all is the cutie Chris Cuomo…his adorable smile and quick whit. In case you missed it Chris, his adorable family, and gorgeously simplistic home were featured in Elle Décor this month.

Look what finally arrived...

Restoration Hardware just launched the new collection of RH Baby & Child. The items are precious, how will new mothers resist?!

Hopefully a round or oval crib is in the works...

These are pretty enough for a living room...
Where was this when I was little. I could have played house in here!!

I've been tagged

I've been tagged by one of my favorite recently discovered blogs...The world according to Jessica Claire.

Here Are the Rules: Answer the following questions about yourself. At the end of the post you pass on the questions to 6 other bloggers and list their names. Then write them a comment telling them that they've been tagged and ask them to read your blog. Let the person who tagged you know that you've accepted the challenge and refer to your post.

1. What did you do 10 years ago?

I was 15 probably packing for church summer camp - we had the most beautiful 3 story cabins that had lots of rooms and would hold almost 100 people!! Me and my 9 bff's would all pack in one room together and stay up all night talking about who was the cutest boy at camp, what kind of pranks we could pull on them, and what make-up was best.
and I was starting to drive!!

2. 5 Items on your to-do list today...

a. Start packing for camping
b. Make sure I have everything I need for Chicago
c. Finish baking the peanut butter jelly bars for the camping trip
d. Clean the apt
e. Read the new Elle Decor (I LOVE the new issue and will post photos of it soon!!)

3. Snacks I enjoy...

Granola with yogurt and blueberries (Sweet Farm Home French Vanilla) is the best granola I have ever had it tastes like cookies and comes in a cute milk carton!
And I love the bite size Ghirardelli Dark Chocolates - they hold me over till dinner when I need a 4:30 pick me up.

4. What would you do if you were a billionaire?

-Buy a house, new car, and a vacation for everyone in my family.
-Take my mom on a shopping spree. She has done this for me (lots) and I would love to do this for her!
-Give almost all of it to charity I mean really you don't need that much...
-Go on a LONG vacation in Europe with my husband
-Take another vacation and bring all my friends
-Purchase an adorable townhome in the West Village (NYC)
-Become the next Ruthie Sommers

5. Places I would live...

-West Village, NY
-Dallas, TX (I'm a Dallas girl born and raised)
