Cathy Horyn of the New York Times and Diane Pernet will also be part of the panel.

The event is free with admission to the museum. I would love to see some..no...all of you at the event, if possible.

The event will be held at:

I {heart} Ikat

Wisteria just came out with several new items, check out the fantastic pillows below! I just love them on the white sofa.

Eye Candy

Finally! Domino has done another spread on an interior by my absolute favorite designer Ruthie Sommers. I feel in love with her and her style from the first issue of Domino {loved the crazy pink sofa she appeared on the cover with}not so long ago. Her interiors are to die for… rich colors, classic design, and a mix of modern and vintage. All over perfection! Below are a few photos from the newly designed offices of Drew Barrymore.

I love photos, especially old ones that shout glamour. Ruthie has done a beautiful job of displaying such a large amount of them over the back wall of Drew’s office. Photos not only help to add depth to a wall but also allow you to mix so many colors into such a small room which in-turn add rhythm and movement. The pineapple lamp is yummy!

This photo is exactly the style that comes to mind when I think of an award-winning actress’s manager/publicist. A high-styled old Hollywood {bar included} office. The rosewood and chrome desk spells retro glamour. {Note to self: I must get a pineapple lamp}

Now we come to the office of my dreams! Contrasting the lightly pastel walls is a beautiful antique painted red matte hutch, I also love how Ruthie carried the red throughout the room with light touches and accents…including the large trim on the curtains.

I guess I will just have to wait another year or two for another beautiful spread from Ruthie Sommers.

Inspiring Metal Art

I recently came across a talanted metal worker - Kristina Kozak. She has just opened up a store in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. If you are in the neighborhood stop in or checkout her website here.

(These last couple of weeks have been super busy, I promise I will "increase" the postings soon!)

Madewell

Finding a new store is like opening a Christmas present early...Knowing it's new, but having no idea what is inside. At least this was the excitement I felt walking up to the new Madewell Store in Soho. It was all I had hoped to be...J. Crew done New York style.

The website only shows a few out of several pieces they offer. If you are in New York head over or check out a location near you here.

"Feast" your eyes on this...

Quality Meats might not sound appetizing but the decor is delicious...and so are the steaks...

Meat cleavers throughout hold everything from the lighting to the accent flower displays and candles. The Thomas Edison Bulb give off a beautiful ambiance. The decor is luxurious; walls and stair treads are drenched in leather and the exposed brick gives you the feeling you are at a trendy meat-packing restaurant not 58th street. Its butcher chic...if there is such a thing.
