wow I think you just helped me a lot I just got a beige couch and couldn't think of what colors pillows to do. Then I saw the pillow arrangement on the CB2 slip covered sofa and looovvveeee it!
Those are some great choices! Can't go wrong with the basics.
Thing to consider is the comfort level you expect from your sofa. Sofas may be very firm or very fluffy. People prefer the pillowed sofas as they are very relaxing and comfortable.
